Summer is approaching The Kennebunks quickly. The shops are open, the flowers are planted, the boats are in the water, and it's time to hit the beach. There is an excitement in the air and we can't wait for you to get up here!
Beach Permits
The last thing that you want to stress about when you arrive at your vacation home is your beach permit. These two links plus my 4 secret tips below will tell you everything you need to know about getting your beach permits-
1. Your Kennebunk beach pass sits on your dashboard when you are at the beach, which, if you are a Kennebunk resident, is a 200 dollar red square of paper. When it is gone it is gone. Lock your doors and roll up your windows, just in case.
2. If you are rolling up to Goose Rocks for the day, you can buy your day pass at Goose Rocks General Store. The trick is to have your car drop you there while they go snag a parking spot. You can buy your week pass their as well!
3. The Kennebunkport Police Station is another great place to pick up your Goose Rocks Beach Permit and it is open 24/7.
4. Many of the hotels are now selling the day passes as well.
